Keep what works. Replace what holds you back.

Many firms run on software written fifteen or twenty years ago. It still works, but nobody can change it, it will not run on new machines, and the person who wrote it has left. We move it to a modern stack in stages, so the business never stops.

Who it is for
Firms that depend on an old desktop application or a system only one person understands.
First step
An assessment of what the old system does, who uses it and what it connects to.
Typical timeline
3 to 6 months for most systems, delivered in stages so nothing stops.
After handover
A maintained system, documentation, and staff trained to use it.

What we do

The old system keeps running until the new one has proved itself.

Document the old system

We read the code and the data, and write down what the system actually does.

Rebuild on a modern stack

A maintained, well-supported stack that your team can hire for.

Run side by side

Old and new run in parallel until the numbers match and you trust it.

Move the data across

Records migrated and reconciled as part of the switch.

Train your people

Short, practical sessions so staff are confident on day one.

Questions

What firms usually ask us before replacing an old system. Anything else, ask us directly.

Do we have to stop using the old system?

No. It keeps running until the new one has been checked against it and you sign off the switch.

We do not have the source code. Can you still help?

Often, yes. We can work from the database, screens and reports to rebuild what it does. The assessment tells you how much is recoverable.

What will the new system run on?

A maintained stack chosen for your case, usually a web application your staff open in a browser. The plan explains the choice.

Will our data come across?

Yes. Data migration is part of every modernisation project, tested on copies before the real move.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the old system. The assessment ends with a staged plan and timeline. Most projects take 3 to 6 months; large systems with many modules or connections take longer.
